The Reading Corner/ De Voorleeshoek
Case
The Reading Corner is the go-to app for children aged 2 to 10, featuring storytime videos. The story time videos combine stories with pictures and music. With over 3,000 videos in 12 languages available (and new ones added every week), there’s always something new to discover. The Reading Corner can be watched anytime, anywhere - on desktop, mobile or smart TV.
You can subscribe to The Reading Corner individually. Additionally, The Reading Corner collaborates with schools and libraries, both nationally and internationally. The read-aloud videos are available for free to members of the Royal Library of the Netherlands, Flemish libraries and American libraries through hoopla.
What did we do?
We onboarded The Reading Corner in our VD OTT solution in just a matter of weeks. The Reading Corner is now available on web, and on apps for iOS, Android, Apple TV and Android TV. With the migration to VD OTT, we aimed for a seamless transition. This way, The Reading Corner was able to keep the Stripe subscriber and payment system that they were already using. Videodock also ensured that login with third-party accounts (like libraries, schools, etc) is integrated into the platform, making the user experience easy and accessible.
