Onboarding and expanding
Our OTT app is available on a lot of platforms, with easy and flexible options to expand to new platforms.
We help you kick-start the launch of your OTT apps. We set up the app's deployment, content organisation, and user authentication management configurations. In a three-week process with our dedicated onboarding team, we ensure your OTT app is set up and ready to go.
The config preview helps you understand what your app will look like when published on different devices. From one place, you can see the impact of design choices and using specific detail pages for the different content types, whether on a phone, tablet, or smart TV.
Organising content
With our VD OTT, you can publish your video content on your own terms and target the audiences that fit your business plan.
Content can take different forms: video, audio/ podcast, text, or illustrations/ pictures. Each type of content has a dedicated layout format for its detail page, giving extra flexibility to your needs.
Content items are shown with cards. On the card is an image and title. Cards can have different sizes: 16:9, 4:3 or 2:3.
Most content management systems allow you to set the order in which content is shown (e.g., date published, alphabetical, etc.).
For series or seasons we have a dedicated content type. This enables you to publish all episodes together. When watching content in a series, the user will always be enabled to continue watching from where they left off the last time they were watching. Also, the the next episode in the series will start to play after finishing the previous episode.
A hub is a powerful way to organise content around a specific theme. It spotlights a theme, person, or date and allows users to discover more content about that theme. You can manage the content on shelves within a hub and bundle different content types.
Depending on the OVP, we offer content security features like DRM (Widevine, Fairplay), URL signing, geoblocking, and limiting concurrent viewers.

Our apps enable you to monetise with advertisements on web, mobile and CTV. We have hands-on experience and apply best practices of CSAI (client-side ad insertion), SSAI (server-side ad insertion) and SGAI (server-guided ad insertion).
We support Stripe and Adyen payment gateways and their payment methods, and can provide options for (mobile) operator billing. By default, we support payments by credit card and PayPal. Additionally, we can enable Apple Pay, Google Pay and local payment methods (for example SEPA).

We conduct comprehensive testing before deploying maintenance releases to ensure the validity and performance of updated components.
We transparently communicate updates, improvements, and fixes to users through release notes. Videodock submits app store submissions, and while doing so, we assist you in technically complying with the app store's regulations.
